I'm usually into whatever genre you toss at me, but there are probably three genre's I can't seem to get into; Mystery, Non-Fiction, and any book that has magic or vampires. . . .sorry lass. Undecided

If you gonna set up a writing club at school you'll have to widen your tastes a bit Cobra, try looking up 'The King Of Torts' I think it's by John Grisham.

All about a low ranking legal aid lawyer, but turns quickly into a fast paced tale full of lies and deceit, i think you could get into that.

It's just something different you might enjoy, try also the tales about Dirk Pitt, now I've said that I've gone blank about the authors name, Alan Bradbury springs to mind but I don't think it's him, google Dirk Pitt, you'll find out who writes about him.

He's ax navy seal/comando type now working for NUMA an underwater exploration unit.
It's all tied in with world domination minded villains and long held secrets of the past, Even Captain Nemo and the Nutilous are proved real in one book, and that Vikings discovered America long before anyone else ever landed there and made it home to tell of the 'new world' .
Have a search, you might even have read one already???

Clive Cussler is he Author and it appears he's getting his son involved in the story/writing biz. I suspect he's grooming his son to take over the story line when Dad decides to retire. I've read a few of his books and they are fantastic reads.

Yeah...that's him, I've read about five or possibly even six now, and I only stumbled across him when waiting at the airport and finding the book on a seat in the departure lounge, then I found another in the hotel reception area, where lots of people left their holiday beachside reads behind when they left.

His character has a lot of James Bond like qualities, and an unshakeable demeanor in the face of certain death situations, bit dramtic...? yeah, but I like the way he ties in stories from the past.....he doesn't care if they are fictional or not.

He has used an attempt by the Japanese during WW2 to use a germ warfare attack on the mainland USA.

He as I said had tied in the discovery of the Americas by Vikings along with the discovery of Nemo's Nautilous.

I like where he takes his lead charcter, nowhere on the earth is inaccesible to him above or below the water.

You'll have to dig out the copies you've got Jeff, and send them to Roy, never know, he might like them enough to chase down some more...there are several in the ongoing set I believe.

Unfortunately my library was trashed when I lived in Panama. I lived in numerous apartments that didn't have AC and the roaches got into the books and laid eggs.  Angry
